Essential Functions:
Bring Cashman, Caterpillar and customer resources together to improve the physical availability and productive performance of Cat mining vehicles. Develop, implement and maintain effective equipment management processes. Establish and maintain high-level relationships. Develop, implement and manage effective key performance indicators. Lead and influence the need for Change Management focused on improved and sustainable results. Serve as liaison between Caterpillar and Cashman to accelerate and deliver interim containment and permanent corrective actions and support that mitigate the impact of product issues. Utilize effective cost per ounce methodology to affect change. Influence equipment management practices at customer sites & Caterpillar. Manage the execution of a recovery strategy and a performance improvement strategy plan. Develop, prioritize and implement strategies and manage them to address customer needs consistently as well as ensure dealer servicing and support practices align with customer strategy. Continuous Improvement Champion for customer. Consult on machine application, maintenance, and operational practices. Direct Caterpillar, dealer, and customer initiatives such that application practices are tailored to maximize product availably and total cost of ownership (TCO). Review and provide input to operation controls and business practices/procedures to ensure maximum product efficiency is measured and managed. ADDITIONAL
Responsibilities:
Consult with Cat Global Mining (CGM) dealers and districts on parts sales and service support requirements. Provide guidance to employees where monitoring and reviewing of team members is required as well as training, developing, and mentoring. Adhere to company policies, procedures and regulations. Enable Cashman to achieve its objective of Safely Home. Everyone. Every Day.(TM) by promoting a positive safety culture and adhering to all company safety policies, procedures and practices. Report any unsafe acts or conditions. Deliver Cashman's Best Customer Experience for all internal and external customers on a consistent basis. Other duties and special projects as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences with dealer and customer operational and executive level. Must have a strong understanding of mining cost per ton factors and how it relates to Cat products. Good human relations skills required to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit. Must have the ability to work and set priorities for self and for the work team without day-to-day direct supervision. Must have knowledge of company products and product applications, equipment management, product problem management, and/or warranty practices and procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others to take specific actions Frequent travel and overnight stays. EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High school diploma, G.E.D. or trade school or equivalent. Require 10 years of mining product experience. Caterpillar experience a plus. Supervisory and Continuous Improvement methodology techniques preferred. Strong verbal and communications skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
