Role The Office Administrator will play an important role for Lithium Nevada and by helping the management team with organizational and administrative tasks, while being an integral part of the Winnemucca based team.
Many tasks will often come at short notice, and it will be important to react quickly to different needs while maintaining attention to detail.
We will look to the incumbent for support in tasks such as managing expenses, drafting letters or presentations, document control, assisting with procurement to include inputting purchase requisitions and tracking purchase orders, and other duties as called upon.
Strong communication is a must.
The position will be based out of the Winnemucca, NV office and will report to the Thacker Pass Plant Manager.
Occasional travel to Lithium Americas offices and the Thacker Pass project site may be required.
Responsibilities Key responsibilities include:
Welcome guests, forward incoming calls appropriately.
Booking and maintaining travel arrangements for the management team.
Organizing and scheduling meetings.
Monitoring and controlling expenses by handling invoices.
Entering purchase requisitions in SAP.
Handle day-to-day Winnemucca office operations - assisting HR with onboarding/offboarding, coordinate local facility operations, including space planning and office moves.
Perform audits of documents to ensure project files are current.
Assist with registration, filing and control of incoming and outgoing documentation.
Perform database input and word-process functions.
Ensure that the confidentiality of sensitive information is protected.
General office upkeep, including maintaining office and kitchen supplies.
Handling incoming and outgoing mail and curriers.
Responding to mail, emails, and phone calls (internal & external).
Liaising with the Reno offices.
Other miscellaneous tasks related to supporting administrative, logistic, and operational activities Lithium Nevada Corp.
Special projects as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements 2
years relevant work experience in administrative, logistics or Human Resources.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excell, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with SharePoint and SAP Concur will be an asset.
Outstanding communication and organizational skills with the ability to motivate team members.
Quick and accurate with numbers.
Impeccable attention to detail when preparing deliverables from excel spreadsheets, formal letters to event luncheons.
Ability to multi-task and run several projects in parallel, while prioritizing and pursuing critical path tasks on an accelerating schedule.
Be a self-starter:
highly motivated, able to work independently, with high energy.
Experience in energy, mining, or technology industries preferred.
Worked within an organization that prioritizes a culture of safety and environmental stewardship preferred.
