Area Sales Manager

The focus of the Area Sales Manager is to drive subscriber growth through improving operations across existing distribution points and through the expansion of new distribution points. The ASM must be goal oriented, self-motivated, and continuously focused on achieving sales objectives. The position is responsible for store operations, staffing, and the overall customer experience across all distribution points (indirect and direct) within the territory.
Essential Job Duties and Expectations:
Manages and develops sales personnel across all retail distribution points.
Possesses an excellent understanding of retail sales, distribution, and merchandising strategies.
Prospects and prioritizes new distribution opportunities and methods to achieve both sales and profitability objectives.
Accountable for developing and managing all staff across all sales channels and distribution points.
Responsible for locating, recruiting and hiring exemplary and upbeat personnel across all distribution points in the territory.
Takes ownership of all operational necessities; capable of handling any sales or non-sales related problem affecting the customer experience at the point of distribution.
Actively participates in sales events and store operations throughout the territory.
Develops and enforces Best Practices to drive sales, cross promote services, and improve customer satisfaction throughout the territory.
Upholds existing Choice Policies and contributes to the crafting of new policies or revisions.
Conducts regular financial reviews with key indirect agents; reviewing current business activities and formulating future plans.
Minimum Requirements:
Strong influence management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to quickly analyze information and transfer into a business plan.
Effective prioritization and project management skills.
Efficient personal time management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent and 5+ years professional experience with 3+ years relating to sales. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate.
Desired Qualifications:
Direct personnel management experience with proven track record of developing people.
Thorough understanding of Choice products and services.
Working knowledge of Choice billing and support systems as well as Microsoft Office suite.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
